Health Care for Workers in Brazil

Professor Maxmiria Batista, PhD, speaks about her experience in labour health in Brazil, showing how the globalisation and neo-extractivism phenomena produce productive, territorials, demographic, and cultural changes. The consequences are environmental degradation and biological, psychic, political and economical charges who affect workers and families health, producing social and environmental inequities trough a production of a culture who legitimize the process.
