As. professor The director of NGO «The Institute of psycholinguistics research “IPLR”» A member of ISAPL (International Society of Applied Psycholinguistics) https://independent.academia.edu/KrylovaGrek   Her research interests are psycholinguistics, media communication, media literacy, the humanitarian aspects of cybersecurity. She considers language used in media as a political tool of influence on auditory consciousness and attitude. Her latest research deals with the influence of the mass media on consciousness. She is the author of the methodology of psycholinguistic analysis of the text. This methodology is used for analyzing media texts, identification and evidence of the existence of hidden hate speech, fake news, disinformation and manipulation. The methodology was used within an international project “Free voices: Promoting Independent Media in the Target Region”, featuring the Crimean Human Rights Group. One of our latest special reports analyzed how Russian media spread veiled ethnicity-targeted hidden and manipulative hate speech with the aim to dehumanize Ukrainian citizens, which preceded the unfortunate events the world has witnessed. She has more than 20 years of teaching experience at Universities. Now she holds a position as an associate professor at National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy as well as being affiliated with the H.S. Kostyuk Institute of Psychology of the NAES of Ukraine. She is the author of more than 40 publications, including articles, conference proceedings, and monographs. In her work she tries to combine her scientific and teaching experience and proposes to her students the special training in developing critical thinking, analytical skills, basis of media and information literacy.
