1/3 Introduction to Evidence-Based Teaching: What Does the Evidence Say about How We Should Teach?

15. března 2017 od 16:00 v US Pointu (univerzitní kampus Bory, Plzeň) We usually teach according to a combination of our experience and our intuition; most of us were not trained to teach! However, learning demonstrably improves when we adjust our teaching according to the evidence on the most effective practices. The body of evidence about the most effective practices in university education has become both large and compelling. I will summarize the evidence and discuss describe the best practices we can use to improve student learning.
